How Wukong plays
Editorial Reading of the kit above, not a sourced claim - the numbers inside it were checked against the client before publishing.
Wukong tricks people into fighting the wrong target, and that's most of his kit in one sentence. Decoy turns him invisible and leaves behind a convincing clone that deals real damage when it goes off, which baits out abilities, flashes, and sometimes entire ultimates aimed at nothing. Nimbus Strike dashes him to a target while sending illusions to strike nearby enemies too, solid burst against a grouped fight and a reliable gap closer the rest of the time. Crushing Blow extends his attack range briefly and shreds armor on the hit, useful both for poke and for softening a target before an all-in. Stone Skin passively scales his resistances with how many enemies are nearby, which makes diving into the middle of a fight less reckless than it looks for him specifically. Cyclone closes it out as a spinning knockup that also speeds him up over its duration, capable of both starting a fight and chasing one down afterward. He's a slippery duelist who's most dangerous in chaotic, multi-target skirmishes rather than clean 1v1s.
Counters & matchups
Decoy wins extended melee trades and Cyclone is a real team fight ultimate; Jax and Olaf beat him at the thing he does.
"In lane" means both champions are played in the same role in Classic; "across the map" represents cross-lane dynamics (e.g. jungler ganks, roaming supports). All matchups evaluated strictly within the 63 Classic launch champions.
