Making tanks miserable is basically Vayne's whole purpose, and Silver Bolts is why. Every third consecutive hit deals bonus true damage scaled off the target's max health, damage that ignores armor entirely, which means the tankier someone builds against her the more that spell actually punishes them. Tumble repositions her while adding bonus damage to her next attack, letting her kite while still contributing real damage rather than just running. Condemn knocks a target back and, if they hit a wall on the way, stuns them outright, a nasty surprise for anyone chasing her through a narrow space. Night Hunter speeds her up whenever she's moving toward a nearby enemy champion, which fits her aggressive, predatory playstyle even this early in her design. Final Hour ties it all together with bonus damage, a stealthy tumble, and even more chase speed, turning her into a genuine terror for a few seconds at a time. She's fragile and has almost no way to survive a clean burst, so she lives on staying just out of reach.
