Slow to start, Veigar becomes one of the scariest single-target burst mages the longer a game runs. Dark Matter drops from the sky after a short delay, heavy damage on a target that doesn't move out of the way in time. Event Horizon cages an area in a ring that stuns anyone crossing its edge, which is as much a zoning tool as it is a way to lock a target in place before the real damage lands. Equilibrium quietly speeds up his mana regeneration the lower his mana gets, keeping him from running dry even while spamming spells to farm and poke. Primordial Burst is the reason he's terrifying against enemy mages specifically, flat damage plus a portion of the target's own ability power added on top, so the more dangerous the enemy caster, the harder Veigar's ultimate actually hits them. He has no mobility of his own, so Event Horizon doubles as his only real way to buy space in a bad fight.
