Builds for Nasus
Abilities
Nasus drains his foes' spiritual energy, giving him an additional ([ 14 - 20 ])% Life Steal.
Nasus's next Attack deals ([ 30 / 50 / 70 / 90 / 110 ] +100% +1x) physical damage. Killing an enemy with this Attack permanently increases its damage by 3, increased to 6 against champions, large minions and large monsters.
Nasus ages target champion over 5 seconds, initially Slowing their Movement Speed by 35% increasing to 47 / 59 / 71 / 83 / 95% and Attack Speed by 17.5% increasing to 23.5 / 29.5 / 35.5 / 41.5 / 47.5% over the duration.
Nasus unleashes a spirit flame at a target location, dealing an initial 55 / 95 / 135 / 175 / 215 magic damage. For the next 5 seconds, enemies in the area have their Armor reduced by 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 40 and are dealt an additional 11 / 19 / 27 / 35 / 43 magic damage each second. (+60% AP, +12% bonus AP)
Nasus becomes empowered in the sandstorm for 15 seconds, increasing his Maximum Health by 300 / 450 / 600, Attack Range by 50, and Cast Ranges by 100. While the storm rages, he deals 3 / 4 / 5% of enemy Maximum Health magic damage (240 damage max per second) and converts 5% into bonus Attack Damage. (+0.01% AP)
How Nasus plays
Editorial Reading of the kit above, not a sourced claim - the numbers inside it were checked against the client before publishing.
Give Nasus enough time and he stops being a lane opponent and starts being an inevitability. Siphoning Strike is his whole late game in one spell: land the killing blow with it and its damage goes up permanently, a little more against champions and big monsters. Fed enough stacks and that spell alone can delete half a health bar. Wither is a slow that gets worse the longer it's applied, both to movement and attack speed, which makes running from him or fighting back progressively harder the more it sticks. Spirit Fire shreds armor in an area over time, softening up whoever's standing in it for his other damage. Fury of the Sands is when all those stacks really show, adding bonus health, range, and a percentage health damage aura for a limited window, turning him from a farming top laner into something closer to a wrecking ball. Carnivore keeps him fed on health and mana just from farming, so he rarely needs to back unless he's actually taking damage.
Counters & matchups
Wither turns off the carry sent to stop him; early duelists beat him before the stacks are worth anything.
"In lane" means both champions are played in the same role in Classic; "across the map" represents cross-lane dynamics (e.g. jungler ganks, roaming supports). All matchups evaluated strictly within the 63 Classic launch champions.
