How Warwick plays
Editorial Reading of the kit above, not a sourced claim - the numbers inside it were checked against the client before publishing.
Warwick hunts, and Blood Scent means he always knows exactly who to chase. Sensing low health enemy champions from a huge distance and speeding up toward them the moment he does, he's the definition of a jungler who shows up right when someone's about to escape with a sliver of health left. Hungering Strike deals a big chunk of damage based on either a flat number or the target's maximum health, whichever is higher, and heals him for most of what it deals, which makes him hard to actually out-heal in an extended trade. Eternal Thirst stacks bonus on-hit damage and healing over consecutive attacks, rewarding him for just staying on target rather than disengaging. Hunter's Call boosts his own attack speed heavily and his team's more modestly, a classic gank tool for turning a lane fight decisively. Infinite Duress is the reason getting caught by him alone is often fatal, a suppress that locks a target down for several hits while healing him off the damage the whole time.
Counters & matchups
Infinite Duress is a full suppression on a target that cannot walk away; early invade junglers beat his weak level-one.
"In lane" means both champions are played in the same role in Classic; "across the map" represents cross-lane dynamics (e.g. jungler ganks, roaming supports). All matchups evaluated strictly within the 63 Classic launch champions.
