How Teemo plays
Editorial Reading of the kit above, not a sourced claim - the numbers inside it were checked against the client before publishing.
Most people in this game love to hate Teemo, and every part of his kit earns that reputation. Blinding Dart shuts down auto-attack reliant champions almost completely for its duration, a brutal counter to anyone who leans on right-clicking to win a fight. Camouflage rewards patience, granting invisibility after standing still for a couple of seconds and a burst of attack speed right as he breaks it, which makes him surprisingly good at ambushing someone who thinks the lane is clear. Toxic Shot adds a damage over time poison to every auto, chip damage that adds up fast over a long trade. Move Quick keeps him slippery, boosting movement speed passively and even more so when actively triggered. Noxious Trap is what really defines him though, stockpiling mushrooms that slow and damage anything that steps on them and linger long after they are planted, which means a jungle he's seeded early can still be dangerous to walk through much later.
Counters & matchups
Blinding Dart turns an auto-attack champion off completely; mages and assassins ignore the blind entirely.
"In lane" means both champions are played in the same role in Classic; "across the map" represents cross-lane dynamics (e.g. jungler ganks, roaming supports). All matchups evaluated strictly within the 63 Classic launch champions.
