Guide & Strategy Breakdown
Crit AoE Sivir hits whole waves and whole teams. Ricochet (W) bounces crits down the line, Boomerang Blade (Q) hits twice, Spell Shield (E) eats a spell and pays her mana for it, and On the Hunt (R) speeds everyone up.
Crit AoE Sivir hits whole waves and whole teams. Ricochet (W) bounces crits down the line, Boomerang Blade (Q) hits twice, Spell Shield (E) eats a spell and pays her mana for it, and On the Hunt (R) speeds everyone up.
How it plays
Sivir does damage to groups and brings the team along with her. Fleet of Foot grants movement speed on basic attacks. Boomerang Blade (Q) hits on the way out and again on the way back. Spell Shield (E) blocks the next enemy spell outright and refunds mana for the trouble, which turns a lost engage into a free one. On the Hunt (R) gives 60% movement speed to every ally nearby.
What to buy
- Starting Items: Doran's Blade and Health Potion.
- Core Build Rush: Berserker's Greaves (On the Hunt R grants 60% team movement speed active while Berserker's Greaves boosts attack speed during teamfights), The Bloodthirster (heavy flat AD scales both hits of Boomerang Blade Q line poke and Ricochet W bouncing attacks), Statikk Shiv (Ricochet bouncing auto-attacks reset attack timers and trigger Statikk Shiv critical lightning strikes across whole minion waves and teamfights), and Last Whisper (Spell Shield E blocks key enemy CC hooks/stuns and restores mana, while Last Whisper ensures bouncing crits shred enemy tanks).
- Situational Options: Infinity Edge, Phantom Dancer, Guardian Angel, and Quicksilver Sash.
Summoners and skill order
- Flash and Barrier.
- Max Q (Boomerang Blade) first for the dual-hit line poke. Max W (Ricochet) second for attack speed reset and bouncing crits. Max E (Spell Shield) third.
New to the champion?
Combos worth drilling
- Dual Boomerang Strike: Q (Boomerang Blade) line poke hitting target on outgoing path and return path -> W (Ricochet) auto reset.
- Spell Shield Mana Refill: Press E (Spell Shield) right as enemy CC hits to absorb spell and restore mana.
Mistakes to avoid
- Don't waste E Spell Shield early: E has a long cooldown. Save it for fatal enemy hooks (Blitz/Thresh) or stuns.
- Don't miss Q return hit: Reposition with Fleet of Foot passive speed so the returning Q blade hits the target.
Playing it out
- Early Game (Levels 1-5): Time Spell Shield (E) to absorb enemy CC (Taric stuns, Blitz hooks, Caitlyn traps) and gain free mana. Poke with dual-hit Q Boomerang Blade.
- Mid Game (Levels 6-11): Activate On the Hunt (R) during objective contests to grant your entire team 60% movement speed to engage or disengage.
- Late Game (Levels 12+): Toggle W Ricochet in 5v5 teamfights. Watch your critical strike auto-attacks bounce through the entire enemy team, melting backline carries passively.
