Poison Proxy Singed spends the game behind the enemy tower, laying Poison Trail (Q) through their wave, Flinging (E) whoever chases him back into it, and drinking Insanity Potion (R) when it gets busy.

How it plays

Singed wins Season 3 games by standing somewhere inconvenient and refusing to leave. Empowered Bulwark turns 25% of his maximum mana into bonus HP, so mana items make him tankier. Poison Trail (Q) leaves magic damage over time behind him wherever he walks. Insanity Potion (R) hands him up to 75 AP, Armor, MR, Movement Speed, HP regen and Mana regen at once.

What to buy

  • Starting Items: Crystalline Flask, 2 Health Potions, and 1 Mana Potion for proxy lane sustain.
  • Core Build Rush: Ninja Tabi (reduces physical damage taken while proxying minion waves), Rod of Ages (Empowered Bulwark passive converts 25% of max mana into bonus health, making RoA grant double HP scaling, mana, and AP for Poison Trail Q), Rylai's Crystal Scepter (Poison Trail perma-slows all enemies who run behind Singed, making it impossible for enemy bruisers to catch his team), and Frozen Heart (Insanity Potion R grants +75 to all combat stats while Frozen Heart provides 95 Armor, 400 Mana HP conversion, and 20% CDR).
  • Situational Options: Liandry's Torment (synergizes with Rylai's slow to deal double % max HP magic burn to anyone touching Poison Trail), Sunfire Cape, Thornmail, and Abyssal Scepter.

Summoners and skill order

  • Ghost and Teleport.
  • Max Q (Poison Trail) first for waveclear and damage. Max E (Fling) second for execution damage and displacement. Max W (Mega Adhesive) third for slow field.

  • Proxy & Fling: Toggle Q (Poison Trail) -> run past minion waves -> E (Fling) enemies into your poison and minion wave -> pop Mega Adhesive (W) slow.
  • Insanity Run: Pop R (Insanity Potion) + Ghost -> run through 5 enemies with Rylai's Poison Trail perma-slow active.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Don't turn around to fight melee: Rule #1 of League: NEVER CHASE SINGED. Keep running ahead of enemies while they burn in poison.
  • Don't waste mana toggling Q constantly: Tap Q on and off to leave poison clouds without draining your mana pool.

Playing it out

  • Early Game (Levels 1-5): Toggle Poison Trail (Q) to clear minion waves. Fling (E) enemies who get too close into your minion wave and poison trail.
  • Mid Game (Levels 6-11): Run between enemy T1 and T2 towers to proxy minion waves. Activate Insanity Potion (R) + Ghost when 3 enemies try to chase you. Rule #1: Never chase Singed.
  • Late Game (Levels 12+): Pop Ghost + Insanity Potion in 5v5 teamfights. Run through the enemy team spreading Rylai's perma-slow Poison Trail and Flinging the enemy ADC into your allies.
