Guide & Strategy Breakdown

AP Crowstorm Fiddlesticks waits in a bush nobody warded and channels Crowstorm (R) over the wall. Terrify (Q) holds whoever survives the landing, and Drain (W) keeps him topped up between fights.

AP Crowstorm Fiddlesticks waits in a bush nobody warded and channels Crowstorm (R) over the wall. Terrify (Q) holds whoever survives the landing, and Drain (W) keeps him topped up between fights.

How it plays

Fiddlesticks controls a fight by threatening to start one from anywhere. Dread strips 10 magic resist off anyone standing near him. Terrify (Q) fears for 3 seconds, which is a very long time to be unable to act. Crowstorm (R) channels for 1.5 seconds before dropping him into the middle of a team for up to 1625 + 225% AP magic damage.

What to buy

  • Starting Items: Doran's Ring and 2 Health Potions.
  • Core Build Rush: Sorcerer's Shoes (maximizes tick damage on Drain W and Dark Wind E silence bounces), Deathfire Grasp (applied immediately after Crowstorm blink to guarantee a single target is deleted during the 3-second Terrify Q fear duration), Zhonya's Hourglass (the core item; it lets Fiddlesticks to channel Crowstorm R, Flash into 5 enemies, and activate stasis while Crowstorm continues burning them for 1600+ magic damage), and Void Staff (cuts through magic resist).
  • Situational Options: Abyssal Scepter (stacks magic resist reduction with Dread passive -10 MR, dropping enemy MR to zero in close proximity), and Banshee's Veil (prevents enemy CC from interrupting Crowstorm channels).

Summoners and skill order

  • Flash and Ignite (or Teleport).
  • Max W (Drain) or Q (Terrify) first depending on match priority (W for 1v1 sustain, Q for 3s fear lock). Max E (Dark Wind) third for silencing bounces.

New to the champion?

Combos worth drilling

  • Crowstorm Stasis Combo: Channel R (Crowstorm) over wall -> Flash in -> Q (Terrify) 3-second fear -> DFG -> W (Drain) sustain channel -> Zhonya's Hourglass stasis.
  • Dark Wind Poke: E (Dark Wind) on a minion next to an enemy champion to bounce silences back and forth between them.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Don't channel R in enemy vision: If enemies see you channel R, they will interrupt it or step back. Always channel R from unwarded brush.
  • Don't Drain (W) while hard CC is up: Silence or stun with Q/E first before channeling Drain so enemies cannot cancel your healing.

Playing it out

  • Early Game (Levels 1-5): Drain (W) minion waves or enemy champions to maintain full HP. Silence enemies with Dark Wind (E) when they attempt to trade.
  • Mid Game (Levels 6-11): Hide in unwarded jungle brush or over dragon pit walls. Channel Crowstorm (R), Flash in, and fear (Q) the enemy carry.
  • Late Game (Levels 12+): Open teamfights with Crowstorm (R) + Zhonya's Hourglass. Stun-lock and drain enemy assassins who attempt to dive.
